NuSil at Space Tech May 21-23
Vincent Malavè and Mark Vedder of NuSil Technology’s Aerospace & Defense Technical Sales Team will be in Long Beach, CA Tuesday, May 21 through Thursday, May 23 for the Satellite & Space Summit at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. On Thursday, May 23, at 11:20 am, Vince will present “Innovative Silicone Adhesives”, a discussion about the technology behind low outgassing two-part curable silicone film adhesives and one-part silicone pressure sensitive adhesives.

Rob Thomaier, NuSil’s Senior Aerospace & Defense Technical Sales Representative, will represent NuSil Technology at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ Tuesday, May 21 through Thursday, May 23 at the AHS 69th Annual Forum & Technology Display. On Tuesday, May 21st, at 10:00 am, Rob will present “Silicone Ice-phobic Coatings”, explaining the need for ice-phobic materials in the aircraft industry and stressing the significance of silicone’s unparalleled performance as such: in their ability to reduce the adhesion of ice to aerodynamic surfaces like the wings of airplanes.

NuSil Technology Enters the Skin Care Industry with Its New CareSil Brand of Pure Silicone Products
NuSil announces a new business unit in silicone materials for skin care, CareSil, and its namesake line of medical-quality, pure silicones for skin. The brand name “CareSil” and its tagline “The Chemistry of Care” were derived from the decision to enter the skin care industry from the standpoint that skin care is healthcare, a philosophy shaped by NuSil’s legacy in the healthcare industry. CareSil silicones, designed to help care for skin to the extent that NuSil’s implant-grade materials care for the internal body, will officially debut at Booth #F19 at In-Cosmetics in Paris, France April 16-18.

NuSil will launch two new silicone products for photonic and electronic applications at Photonics West 2013. LS2-6140, an optically clear primerless encapsulant, and R-2175, a flowable, thermally stable potting compound, are the latest product launches of the company’s Engineering, Electronics, and Photonics business unit.
