Founded in 1979 and acquired by Union Carbide in 1990, NuSil returned to employee ownership
in 1992 to focus exclusively on silicone technology and related process development. Today,
NuSil Technology comprises hundreds of research, manufacturing and engineering professionals
perfecting silicones as materials of choice based on the vast, unique array of properties
they provide.
